It is an Arabic song, performed by the Christian Lebanese singer Julia Boutros. The song is based on a letter sent by the general secretary of Hizbollah Hassan Nasrallah to the Lebanese fighters in South Lebanon during the 2006 Summer War between Lebanon and Israel. The poet Ghassan Matar adapted the original text. The music is composed by Ziad Boutros, Julia's brother.
I tried so hard to be accurate during the translation of the lyrics to English. Take into consideration that the poem has lost its rhyme and rhythm because of translation.
Here we go:
Oh my beloved ones,
I listened to your message, which was rich in splendor and faith
You, as you said, are men of God in the battlefield
A true promise you are, and our upcoming victory you are
You are from the mountains of the sun, which are mighty more than other mighty creatures
Because of you, the land and prisoners will be liberated
Because of your fist and rage, the home and honor will be protected
The builders of civilization you are, and the awakening of values you are
And you are immortal, just like the immortality of Cedar trees
The glory of our nation you are, and our leaders you are
And the crown of our heads you are, and our masters you are
Oh My beloved ones,
I kiss the nobility of your feet, which grant honor to the honor itself
The feet that implanted in the self-esteem of our land, so do not stumble or shake
Because of You, we will change the universe, and the destiny will obey
Because of you, we will build a better tomorrow, move on, and win
